On the purposeful design of the logo for Matters of Management, LLC.

You may not initially see it but the design is of a deconstructing bumblebee. When our logo designer at Cardenas Grant (a minority women owned public relations firm) asked us to choose our colors we knew immediately that the logo should incorporate the bumble bee insignia. Bumble bees are aerodynamically incorrect. They are not supposed to fly given their engineering of self. If you took their body plan and built a plane out of it height x weight etcetera, the buzz would not get off the ground. So basically it wills itself to fly. It overcomes the odds. It goes on without interruption. Perpetuating despite all “rules”. This is how we function. We go against the grain, the design, the rule and we persist, we overcome…… we fly.
